After about a week since launching the game we have noticed that the game has been perceived as quite difficult and that it lacks instructions. This post will give you everything you have to know to easily beat Embrace The Darkness.

Completing Tasks

In order to complete a night you must do all the tasks your boss has given you.  Here are the following tips to completing tasks:

1. Cleaning - Simply grab the equipment upstairs and clean the dirty areas (usually just the main catwalk on the first and second floor).
2. Activity Reports - Whenever you notice the entity in one of the cameras, open up the Activity Report program on your computer and input Suspicious Sighting as the type and then the area where you spotted it, and then submit.
3. Check Ins - Use the Booking System program to tick off all the customers.
4. Fixing Power - When the power goes out, you must go to the basement to fix them. This is done by opening up the power box next to the generator, clicking on the fuses to make sure they are working (one click will remove a broken fuse, another click will then replace it). After that you must turn the small knob to match the green knob indiciator. After that, the power will come back on. It is best to be fast when the power goes out.
5. Leaving Early - When you are done can go to the car and be able to leave and end the night. A night otherwise ends at 6 am.

Surviving The Whisperer
The motel is haunted by the entity that can be referred to as the whisperer, as when he is active or visible you may hear whispers. Here are the following tips to surviving the whisperer:

1. Never Turn Towards It - If you look at it when haunting you, it will instantly kill you and restart the night. Even if you hear it right next to you or behind you, never look at it.
2. Report Its Activities Fast - Reporting its recent activity correctly will get rid of it temporarily.
3. If You Hear Whispers, Stay Away - Obviously since the whispers indicate the presence of the whisperer, you must stay away when you hear them.

It's that simple! It may seem like a lot at first but once you get the hang of it you should flow through the nights relatively quick.
